"I do not require friends, any friend I make would be second to
my family. More or less a distraction and an annoyance." he said
and felt Nox bite his ear. "Silly fox you are not a friend you
are family. So stop biting me." he muttered

Freya stepped out of the shadows with him, grinning excitedly
when she caught site of her brother sitting with Quinn.

Nox perked up when he sensed the two, hopping down from his
perch he ran over and jumped onto Freyas shoulder and then to
Yukios to alert them of his prescence.
He stood up and began dusting the sand off his pants, hoping to
prolong the moment before his sister began her mothering and
excessive hugging.

She tore across the sand and threw her arms around him, "Look at
you Ly, almost taller than me. It has been ages since I've last
seen you." she said, tightening her grip around him. "How are
you doing, adjusting ok to the school? I'll have to figure out
if it would be best to put you in a dorm or not. I'm sorry that
so much has happened and neither me or Artemis were there.." she
rambled worriedly and began looking him over.

Lycus nearly rolled his eyes at her worrying, but decided, for
once, to let her continue mothering him since he knew it would
make her feel better. "I am fine, I dislike this place. It has
too mny people and threats but I will bear it since you and the
idiot reside here. Wherever you put me shall be fine." he said
in answer to her questions. He turned his attention to Yukio,
"Thank you for succesfully saving my sister. I do not think
Artemis would have survived if we lost another family member in
such a short amount of time." he said to him with a small hint
of kindness. "How are you doing Freya? Is it wise for you to be
out here after your ordeal?" a rare amount of concern colored
his words as he looked at her.

She rested her head atop his and smiled, understanding his
actual meaning. "Do not worry so much. It is painful but I will
be fine." she said softly and ruffled his hair. "You and
Artemis are still alive, I will focus on that and train hard to
keep it that way. You already know I'll be leaving, when Artem
returns, to see the elders, afterwards we are going to visit
moms parents to take out anything incriminating and have there
memories altered. I'll make sure to send your regards." she
said.
