Her own eyes matched his. She searched for something, anything
to say to take his hurt away. Seeing him in this much pain was
worse than any injury she could endure. She took his hand
again, unable to speak for a moment. She squeezed his hand
gently. She reached up and tried to wipe away his tears.

Homura sighed lightly. She didn't need to see his face to know
what was written all over it. "Ren." she whispered. "Please
just talk to me. Maybe putting it into words could help. I can
take any words. Yell, scream, do whatever you need to. I know
your hurting, I know your angry. I always know. You don't need
to hide it. I just...." A few more tears rolled down her
cheeks. "I just hate when you're upset." She cast her own eyes
down as the tears fell.

Ren rested his head on her shoulder. He wasn't angry at her, so
why make her get the worst of it? He nudged her shoulder and
kissed her cheek.

She looked back up at him, and blinked back the remaining tears.
She kissed his forehead softly, and rested her head on his.
She wrapped an arm around him. She turned her face slightly
into his hair, taking in his scent. She just wanted to be there
with him.

Homura brightened at his smile. It was infectious. She smiled
and wrapped him into a tight hug. She rubbed her cheek on his,
and buried her face in his neck. "I love you." she murmured
softly.

"I love you too." He said, kissing her softly. She was the only
thing keeping him sane. He felt like, if she wasn't there, he
couldn't function.

She curled her body into him, nuzzling his neck softly. She
knew how he felt, because she shared the feeling. When he
wasn't there, it almost seemed like nothing made sense. She
kissed him deeply. "You are my everything." she whispered
lightly, her lips brushing against his ear.
