Edge of the Forest

An imposing start to the forest. Becareful treading here,
escpecially if you don't like fire.

A red dragon landed on the edge of the forest, craving the
unnatural warmth that accompinend it. The dragon shifted in her
human form and Homura walked towards the forest. She needed to
think, and this seemed like a good spot. Her mind kept playing
over what had happened in the ocean. She knew how deeply Demix
seemed to care about her. She knew how Ren cared for her, and
she knew how she felt about Ren. Her feelings didn't make the
situation any less confusing. She walked a few yards into the
forest and sat down against a tree. She pulled her knees in
close to her, and rested her head on them. "What do I do?" she
whispered, "I love Ren, but Demix..." she trailed off as her
head started to hurt. Her heart hoped that Ren would find her
here, but something in her was afraid to talk to him. A few
tears ran down her cheeks as she lost herself in her own
worries.

Homura stretched her wings as she landed on the edge of the
forest. She loved it here, it was warm and the little fire
dragon loved that. She just wanted to think for a bit, and the
firey forest always made her feel safe. She curled up under a
tree and let out a soft stream of fire, before resting her head
down on her claws.

Ren appeared in the forest, looking around. His eyes landed on
his little dragon and he crouched down, looking at her. "Now
what has your heart in knot, my sweet."

Hearing Ren her head shot up. Her eyes found his before nudging
him softly with her head. She stretched her wings lightly.
"It's so wonderfully warm here I thought it would be a nice
place to think." Her head rested on his leg. "I just wanted to
think. I was trying to take a minute to sort through what's been
happening. Although every train of thought ends up with me
thinking how lucky I am to have you." She said quietly.

The little dragon sighed as she shifted back to her human form.
She moved closer to Ren, pulling him to sit with her, sheilding
him from anything that would be excessivly warm. She rested her
head on his shoulder. "I don't know why I keep thinking about
it." She answered quietly but honestly. "Maybe I still feel
guilty about what happened. I can still feel how much you were
hurting." She said quietly.

happened back there, but please, stop thinking about it..

Homura sighed and leaned into him. "Alright I'll do my best to
stop." she said quietly. She certianly didnt want her lingering
thoughts to cause more trouble. "I love you." she said kissing
him gently.

He sighed into the kiss. Her knew that she was still thinking
