The other faded away, absorbed back into the psyche of the
woman. The real Sienna lifted her arms, wrapping them around
Nera. "Sempre il tuo angelo. Niente pił, niente di meno. Ti
amo." She had no way to thank him for what he'd done.
The nightmare ended, Sienna coming awake and the two of them in
the bathroom. Somewhere along the way, he'd plucked her from the
water to hold her in his lap. He was soaked, she was still damp.
The situation made her stifle a small giggle. "Puzzi come me.
Beh, io e te." She nuzzled into his neck affectionately. And for
the first time in weeks, felt peace.
