mika... I love you and miyako more than anything but I love this
island and this world where I was able tto meet the both of
you.... But I would gladly destory this island and world where I
was able to meet you to be with you with a second
thought....*shinji stroked mika cheek* with that being said I
will not be some bored god pllaything I will not let anyone
mortal or immortal take me away from you....

Mika squeezed his hand back. She knew how he felt, but it was
always nice to hear it. His ability to doom the world to be
with her frightened her a bit, somethings were beyond ones
control. She locked her eyes on his. "I know you would." She
brushed her fingers lightly through his hair. She looked
serious for a moment. "Do you remember what happened right
before you were in the underworld?" she knew she'd had this
question before, if he didn't remember he didn't remember, but
it was worth asking again.
Her eyes still reading serious she took a breath, "What would
you do if the situation had been reversed? What if it was me in
the underworld? I'm not asking if you're willing. I know you
are. Would you be able to handle the Gods challenges, not
promise something you couldn't give." She had been wrestling
with her own limits since her talk with Kaya a while back. What
if she had come against something she couldn't do because of her
foolish words. What if her blind love had lead her down a path
she couldn't come back from. The thought had scared her, and it
scared her about Shinji too.

*shinji looked away from mika, took a step back, and let go of
her hand*that was something that happen before and one of my
biggest fears * shinji looleed at his hand that mika was just he
could feel her warmth leaving him*.......

Mika quivered as he took his hand away. "I...I didn't mean
too...." she looked down holding back tears. "I..I'm sorry."
She looked away hiding her face from him.

Mika's face hid the hurt from his hesitation. She didn't want
to hurt him more with her expression. She subtly bit her bottom
lip to stop it from shaking. "I'm still sorry. I won't bring
it up again." She said softly. "I love you." She said looking
up at him. "There is nothing that will change that, ever." She
lightly wrung her hands together. She cast her eyes down again
avoiding his eyes.

Mika looked in his eyes, "I'm sorry." she said softly. "You
just worried me, I love you." She took his hand gently, and
pulled herself closer to him.
