A deranged cackle followed her through the forest. The smell of
woodsmoke wafted toward her. Her fireballs had lit things on
fire that she hadn't meant to.
Very suddenly, her stride becomes shorter. Her perspective falls
from the height that she normally stood at and got much closer
tot he ground. It's dizzying and disorienting. She falls.

Freya tripped over herself, dizzy from the sudden change she sat
on the ground looking around the forest in her confusion.

Yukio walked through the forest. He appeared to be lost. "Fuck

The small five year old Freya continued to sit on the forest
floor, unsure of where she was she ignored the smell of smoke in
favor of crying.

An owl circled down, luminescent eyes on Freya. It appeared to
be standing guard over the young girl crying. The spirit is
nowhere to be found. The bird of prey shrieked loudly to get
Yukio's attention. In his head, he hears, "Come take care of
her. She is yours, is she not?" This owl is vaguely familiar to
both individuals.

Yukio looked at the sky, seeing the owl.
What are you talking about?? He said, looking for the crying
girl.

The owl ruffled his feathers, annoyed. "Are you blind, boy? Have
you no sense about you at all? Through those trees ahead of you,
quickly. There is fire. You must get her out."

She scrubbed the tears from her face, sniffling she pushed
herself up to stand, nearly falling back down when she almost
tripped over her shoes and clothes. She noticed the fire around
her and began crying again.

Yukio looked around, noticing the smoke and ran through the
trees in front of him. Soon enough, he found a crying little
girl. "Hey!! How'd you get here?" He said, picking her up and
running out of the forest.
I'm taking her to my house, for now. Come with me. He thought
to the owl.

The owl looked at him. "Get her to your house. I will send my
mistress. She is already on her way. I need to take care of the
forest." It took to the sky. "Remember one thing, boy. You don't
give me orders."
