Forest Outskirts

The area just outside the forest. Not many animals wander out
here except birds and squirrels.

Ayame had no trouble finding the forest. She quickly transformed
into the black cat form she was so fond of and prowled around
the grounds to get familiar with the area.

Ayame froze and her ears perked when she heard someone coming.
Turning to see a boy she sat down and blinked up at him. The
device he was holding began beeping and startled her, causing
her to transform back into her human form. She looked at him and
waved awkwardly. "Uh, hi."

Ayame giggled softly and looked at his hand before taking it.
"I'm Ayame" she said as she stood up. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean
to startle you like that.."

She laughed again and looked around the forest. "Well I was
enjoying how nice and quiet it is out here" she said smiling.
"It was really crowded in the orientation hall."

Ayame waited for him to finish then said, "I'm a shapeshifter.
I'm just most comfortable as a cat." She smiled shrugged.
"Probably because I'm a little catlike I guess."
