he simply gives the boy a glare, his plans safe in his head. he
turns a smile to his dear daughter, accepting her wanting to
change subjects. "well, there was this one guy who was sorta
interesting. he managed to get some rare final words out. they
were the usual cursing my grave thing, but its been awhile since
one was still able to talk" he laughed as they sat. when she
changed the subject again, he looked at her. "what dangers?
whats happened here?"

"Probably nothing that could get you on his bad side. Oh the
toddler thing is recent and should get you on his good side" she
whispered to him. "Well dad I got turned into a 5 year old
recently." she said.

defense. That was as it should be. She does wait in silence for

She smiled, "Yeah I was doing research in the forest and ended
up getting attacked. Next thing I know I'm sitting in a burning
forest and I was saved thanks to yukio and my friends owl. All
of my friends took turns watching over me while I got myself
into potentially dangerous situations. Even as a child I took a
liking to Yukio and sorta kinda set Artemis's clothes on fire in
his defense." she explained.

demetri slowly returns to smiling at her. "well, im glad to hear
my baby girl has made some good friends" he says, ignoring the
parts about the boy.

Nicola lifted a hand to cover the smile that ran over her face.
She only murmured softly, "Asta e fata mea." In her home tongue.
She'd done the same thing in defense of Demetri a time or two to
her own brothers. "Your friends are owed a debt by us, then."
Nicola said in her slightly accented English.
