Freya receives a phone call from the her softly laughing mother.
"Freya, darling. We're here. Meet us at that seafood restaurant
in the Market District in a couple of hours. Bring your beau." A
quiet scoffing noise is made on Nicola's end, even as her voice
hisses "Hush."

Freya appeared outside the restaurant, letting go of his hand
she grinned and made her way in. "Mother!" she said happily.

Nicola is standing patiently behind her mountain of a husband
smiling. She waits for him to let the girl go before folding her
daughter into a warm hug. She whispers to the girls
surreptitiously, "It'll be okay, milaya. It'll be wonderful, in
fact." Nicola's mother's intuition put together something.

She hugged him and then her mother "I'm glad you both have come
out to visit." she said to them and smiled.

Yukio stood there, not really sure of what to say, so he just
started with a simple greeting. "Hi, I'm Yukio." He said,
smiling.

She took his hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. She looked back
to her parents and took a calming breath, "Yu-chan is my fiance
now." she said, smiling as she showed them the ring.

Nicola's face gave away that she'd noticed the ring long before
this had been mentioned. Her grip on her husband's hand
tightened minutely. "Hello, Yukio. I'm Nicola. The man about to
yell, though I pray he'll remember that we're in public, is
Demitri. It's good to meet you." She offered a dainty hand to
Yukio, already interposing her presence between the boy and the
man.
She only kissed her daughter on her forehead, murmuring for a
moment. "It's not hard to catch her mutter words like, "My
babygirl's grown up. When did that happen?" She sounds just on
the verge of crying.

Yukio looked in his pockets. "I have a bag of peppermints
somewhere." He said, looking in his jacket, he found them. "Here
ya go, Mrs. Dracone." He smiled, placing the bag in her hands.
He looked at Dimitri. "Hi, Mr. Dracone.."
