She met Demix's eyes. The girl is too honest not to. "It's not
discomfort with you, perse. The resonance is an unstable magick
at this time. It makes the threads around you uncertain. The
patterns can't make up their mind. There's a knot in your
strands...here." She lifted her hand, moving it in the general
direction of his upper torso.
"You both are far too nice for me to really remain completely
uncomfortable. So, don't worry about me. Despite the magicks,
you both register as just fine on my empath radar. Though you
must lean a bit that way yourself, Demix. You picked up on that
surprisingly easily."

Kaya inclined her head to Jasper. "Fair well on your travels.
Well met." The farewell sounds very old, and very formal. She
turned her attention back to Demix, already taking a liking to
the boy. He made her feel almost sisterly.
She sat on the ground, patting it as she spoke. "Have a seat,
and tell me what you enjoy. What sort of dragon are you? What do
you take your greatest joys in, and what causes you your
greatest sorrows? I already gather that you want more than just
power from your words." She smiled gently. The little goddess
had taken an immediately liking to the young dragon in front of
her.
