She looked at him, reaching out her hand to twine her fingers
with his. "What's wrong, little spider?" She asked him softly.
She could feel the odd feeling running through him, but was
confused about it's origins or why.

Her brow furrowed. "Why wouldn't you belong here? It's my home,
you're my friend. Friends come over and hangout in each other's
house." Or she thought they did. Maybe? She'd heard that was
what happened. Never having had a home, she wasn't positive. Her
brows had furrowed further.

Her hand let go of his rather abruptly, and she reeled back from
him a few steps, automatically cradling Vulpix to her. Kaya
turned around, walking away a few more steps, her face nuzzling
into the little fox's fur. She felt like he'd slapped her.
She had little to nothing to say, her face pale now, and closed.
She really should have known better. Really, she should have.

vulpix curled into her and licked her cheek, then over her
shoulder and growled at miles. "VUL!" she shouted at the boy.
anyone could tell she was calling him an idiot.

"You're right." He said to vulpix. He reached the door and

Kaya's lifeless and dull answer reached his ears. There's no
sparkle in her voice. She's speaking Greek, and it sounds almost
final. "Forever yields a lifetime of apologies. Just another
brick in the wall." She said. Her slender shoulders slumped
slightly.
