Babe, Ishtar is the Sumerian goddess of beauty, fertility, the
spiritual. She was basically like their key Goddess. She's the
best of both Hera and Aphrodite.

I see where that happened. Astarte/Inanna/Ishtar all get mashed
into being faces of the same deity. All together the same
religion, usually. If you want a slightly more peaceful one, go
with Inanna. And being the reincarnation of her actually makes a
lot of sense, with Inanna's travels into the Underworld.
