As if something knew she was spooked, a resounding thump came
from one of the shelves two over. It was loud, resounding and
echoed slightly in the quiet library.

Homura jumped at the noise stifling a high pitched "eep". She
was trying her best to be respectful here. she cautiously
rounded the end of the aisle and followed the thump. She walked
two rows over to investigate, even though her heart was racing.

A breeze ruffled her hair, cold on her neck. The thump does not
repeat.

Homura shuddered at the cold air on her neck and whipped around.
"Is anyone there?" she ventured softly not entirely sure if she
wanted a response or not.

There's a vibration on one of the shelves, and a freezing blast
of air sweeps over her. No other answer is forthcoming, however.
It is exceptionally eerie.

Homura takes a quick few steps backwards trying to get away from
the ynoises and the cold air. However in her uneasy state she
tripped over her own feet and fell backwards in the aisle,
landing rather awkwardly. She tried to catch herself but
twisted her wrist in the process.

The ground shudders beneath her, and she finds herself being
tumbled about suddenly. As if instead of solid concrete and
tile, it has become a moving, flowing surface. Books have begun
to tumble down around her.
Harsh edges struck her neck and shoulders, one of them striking
her temple soundly, dazing her. Sheis tossed off balance in a
nightmare of shifting ground and falling books.

Homura struggled against the chaos she was now trapped in. Her
arms tried to cover her head from the books raining down on her
to keep another blow from her temple. She was dizzy from the
impact and the shifting ground was doing nothing to aid her
recovery. She tried to cal out for help, but her voice was
caught in her throat.

Ren flickered in front of the pile of books, throwing them off
to get to Homura. He sensed that something had hit her. After
all of the books were gone, he cradled her in his lap. "You ok?"

He flickers in to find that the girl he searches for is not
here. The library section looks absolutely normal. Just shelves
of books.
