She examined the book and crossed her arms. "It could have the
answers I'm looking for...or it could be a really bad idea." she
said to herself. Shaking her head she wrapped her shadows around
the book and took it down from the shelf.

The book did a little dance in the shadows, and then proceeded
to launch itself out of them. It hit the floor with a slap. It
then skitters slightly away. The book was definitely moving a
little on it's own.

She landed down on the ground and folded her wings. "Of course
you would be difficult." she said hurrying after the moving
book.

It jigged around the corner, seeming to move a little faster,
especially after Freya's words. The flutter of pages sounds
before Freya rounds the corner. When she does, the damnable book
is nowhere in sight. She'd have to look for it again.

She huffed when she lost sight of the book, "I'm not about to
play a game of hide and seek." she said and turned away. "In
fact I don't even need such a rude and useless book, I'll just
go find another one." she added, seeing as a book had a mind of
its own she hoped it would be insulted and come back to her to
prove her wrong.

The book did indeed have a mind of it's own. A thing that was
very clear when it jumped down and very roughly slapped her on
the head. It then fluttered down to the ground. It was like it
was taunting her.

She rubbed her head and glared down at the book, "Listen book
don't forget your made of very flammable material." she said and
a flickering flame formed on her fingertips.

It belched a bit of flame at her feet. It didn't attempt to hurt
her, just perhaps startle her a bit. And it was also the closest
thing a book could do to symbolize blowing a raspberry at
someone.

She rolled her eyes and knelt down next to the book "Swear your
the first book to come alive and give me a hard time, and the
most annoying." she said and held out her hands. "Now are you
done being silly?"

It seemed to think for a moment, before it hopped and fluttered
into her hands. It went still for her. It still has it's
attitude, but it's quite like a cat that has accepted you as
it's person.
