Listening to Kaya's song had given Mika some control over
herself again. She put her hand on her sword, and looked at the
others. "We need to stop this." she said severely as she
watched the man devour another soul. Her heart ached for the
souls. Knowing Kaya may be the most mentally together still,
she turned to her, "any ideas?"

In that same melodic, musical tone, she answers. "Get them free
of the chains. I may be able to stir them to fight. If not, the
souls can be saved, and will finish this thing. I'm not willing
to see more led down here for this reason. This thing ends, even
if we have to bring more people in to do it."

Mika nodded and pulled the blade out, which she pulsed with dark
energy. She started cutting through the chains between the
imprisoned souls. The blade sliced through the chains easily.
