She averted her eyes slightly, lowering them, but nodding slowly
to the affirmative. "It's why I told you that, so long as I'm
alive, he'll remain bound." Her voice said softly.

She shifted slightly. "In a manner of speaking, I suppose. It
doesn't take away life, so much as some of my lifeforce is
stored to power these. I have a longevity that is not mortal.
I don't age as drastically as all of you do. I never have.
Because of my Spark. Some of my Spark went to make those what
they are." It likely didn't make a lot of sense to him, what she
was saying. But, in the end, it was true. The chains leeched
their power from her. And likely, everytime the demon struggled,
they drained more from her to stay strong.

haro looked down. the part about living so much longer would
settle itself in later. how important could he be, just a stone
on the path... but that would strike him when he had a clearer
mind. right now the devil he sheltered was his concern. he wasnt
sure what to say...

He didn't know what to say or do, but the demon would make his
point. He was so close. Despite knowing how painful it would be
for him, the demon struggled. Snarling and howling, he fought
with all his might. He threw everything he had at it.
Each time, those chains glowed a silvery white. The smell of his
sizzling flesh began to permeate the room. The struggle was so
mighty that you couldn't help but watch. But in watching, he
didn't automatically notice Kaya's knees buckling.
She went to her knees, hands braced on the ground. Sweat dotted
her forehead, her face pale.

For a moment, she says nothing, only breathing deeply. When she
speaks again, her voice is tight. "It's okay. I'm not used to
some of the factors, and his fighting his tugging at me. I'll be
fine." Her face is still very pale, and her eyes are glazed over
from the mix of her concentration and her pian.

The demon smirked slightly. He'd stopped struggling. He'd made
his point, as he needed to. "You see. It puts her under strain
to have me chained this way. If you would actually work with me,
we would come to an understanding, and no one has to hurt."
For herself, Kaya remained on the ground on her knees. She felt
guilty that she'd been used against Haro. Again. She wouldn't
add her opinion to this. He own didn't matter. She shook her
head slightly when he tried to pick her up. It was better to be
on something solid. And he needed his concentration.

"..." haro kneeled down infront of her and put his hand on her
head. "... kaya. take the chains and get out, ok?" he whispered
to her with a serious tone. he wasnt placing her in harms way
with this. hes been enough of a burden to her. haro is fully
dedicated to finishing this himself, here and now.
