       Sirens

       Many legends could be and have been attributed to these sea
       maidens. Some stories spoke of beautiful women that saved
       sailors in treacherous waters. Other stories speak of a
       beautiful song that men can't help but follow, usually to their
       deaths, as they find their ships dashed upon craggy rocks. They
       say that the only man who can resist the siren's spell is a man
       filled with true love's song, for it's the only thing that plays
       louder.
       Their true origins are unknown. They aren't often found in fresh
       water, that is their weaker counterparts, river nymphs. Most
       sightings speak either of the Aegean, or the Carribean.
       Strengths: Hypnotic song, similar adaptations to a fish (i.e.
       fins, tails, gills, scales) the ability to change their shape at
       will, from beautiful woman to horrifying harpy-like creature.
       Sharpened talon like nails. A mouthful of pointed and sharp
       teeth. Natural venom, blood with varying properties. Empathic
       abilities added to theirs strengthen the effect. Natural
       seduction.
       Weaknesses: Females of any other species, dry land for too long,
       electricity, fire, psychic attack, true love between chosen
       victim and another, one who cannot hear their song, their own
       instincts at times.
