*bows in return* I just expounded on your thoughts, good Sir.
Agamemnon was not a nice man. One of the reasons that it took so
many of the Greeks a long time ot get home was because of what
he did to ensure swift passage to Troy.
Though Odysseus got the shit end of that stick, because of his
boast when they'd finally won the war. For such a scholarly and
wise man, that day he really humped the bunk.

Odysseus and I have a love/hate relationship. I love reading the
story (The Iliad and The Odyssey are just awesome.) but at the
same time, the antics he got up to occasionally tweak me.
Especially when you get to the portion with the witch, Circe.
Poor Penelope. She married a cheating rat.

LOL. I don't hate the witch Circe. Not in the least. I like her
for the same reason I like Hippolyta, or the Furies, or
Clytemnaestra. They were women in a very masculine oriented
world that did what they want, as they wanted. I mean Zeus
wasn't much different from Circe in his tactics, and everyone
loved him. But because Circe was a woman, she gets painted with
the badgirl brush. Nope, I like her.

Actually, I fucking HATE Zeus. He was a whore in more ways than
Circe. I'd have to say my favorite is Hades, not because he
ruled the underworld, but because he was simply fine with what
he had. He left well enough alone, and did a DAMN GOOD JOB at
being god of the underworld.

Hades was also my favorite. The Capture of Persephone is one of
my favorite stories, by far. Besides, I like brooding men, and
you don't get more dark and brooding than the God of the
Underworld.
I also flat agree on Zeus. I can't stand that man.
