She giggled lightly. Making him do that purposefully was
beginning to become one of her favorite things. "Why does that
uniform bother you so much, koi? They're not so bad. A bit
cheesy, but that's the fun of it." She laughed softly. "I'd
totally try the maid's uniform out. Though the heels have to
kill the girls' feet by the end of their shifts."
She looked at him, still playing her hand through the strands of
his hair. "How was your day, though?" And just like that, she
realized what she was experiencing for herself for the first
time, but had seen countless times and yearned for. A normal
conversation had between two people who cared about and loved
one another.
She'd watched husband and wife have the same sort of
conversation, mothers ask their children when they reached home
from school, close friends that met for lunch. But she'd never
had the exchange in earnest for herself. It left the woman
looking thunderstruck. A little private dream had just come
true, and there was no way for Haro to know what it had been.

haro smiled alittle deviously. he couldnt deny hed love to see
her in that.
with the follow up he, wasnt sure what made her so happy but it
was contagious, at least to him. "my day?" he asked. in truth,
noone had asked since his mother. "well, interesting i suppose.
once you entered it anyway. before that i just flowed through
work in that zombie like state you saw before." and that was it.
it was only about 2 or 3 at this point after all. "what about
yours?" he asked

She intuited the meaning behind that devious smirk, and gave a
low chuckle. "I'll keep that interest in mind, love." Her nails
scraped lightly on his scalp as she scritched now, instead of
only playing with his hair.
She listened to him report his day, uneventful as it may have
been, with a stupid happy grin on her face. "As I was up with
the sun, I've been up to a bit more. I got all the crystals in
my room cleansed. Meditated for an hour out at the perch you
like. Did a bit of my agility training, went for a swim for
about an hour and a half.
Took my shower and came to see you. Came back home to change,
and then came here and read. I made it through the sonnets and A
Midsummer Night's Dream. And then was joined by a handsome man.
I think a girl can appreciate this sort of day." She laughed
again, back to flirting with him. She pressed another kiss to
his palm.
"What does said handsome male feel like doing with the rest of
his time? I think my love affair with Will is done for the day."
She hooked a thumb, indicating her book.

She giggled slightly at the gesture. He played a pretty good
Prince when he wanted to. Her nose scrunched as she sank deep
into thought. She had no idea what to do. She said as much. "I
have no clue what I feel like doing." Her lower lip made that
sulky pout it did when she didn't like something.
"Show me something you like to do that I haven't seen with you
yet." She said, figuring out an idea.

She nodded her head. "There has GOT to be something you haven't
shown me yet. I want to know more about you. I know the dark
stuff, but I don't know a lot of the light."

She knew him too well to think it was simply a line to charm
her. Her face reflected that it made her a little sad that he
had such little light. "Let's go take a walk. I wish there was a
wooded area where it was safe to roam. I miss the trees. I think
Kami would be thankful for it, as well." And what do you know?
Said owl was perched not far from his mistress, his head in his
wing, sleeping like a baby.
