Mike woke up a while later and searched the house. "hmmm
shinji's not back yet." she said to herself. she decided to
check his store, maybe he was there. She walked into a shadow
still in her pjs

Mika and shinji stepped out of a shadow in the bedroom. "and we
are home." Mika says walking them over to the bed.

Mika sat on the bed and waited for Shinji to come back. while
she waited she played the incident in the shop over in her mind.
She hated feeling like she was useless, and she clenched her
fist digging her fingernails into her palm. sighing she looked
up at the ceiling

Mika shook her head. "when i found you unconscious and in pain i
couldn't do anything except sit there with you." she said
quietly. "it hurt seeing you in pain and not being able to fix
it." Mika looked at shinji and then at the floor.

Her hand immediately flew to her neck to touch the pendant. Her
hand came in contact with the metal and she gently played with
it around her neck. "Of course I do," she said looking in his
eyes. "I always wear it."

the necklace. She handed it to Shinji.
