A pause and then that voice says, very finally. "Fine then. The
deal is sealed." Shinji finds himself falling unconscious, the
last thing he can remember is the sound of wings.

Mika walks out of the shadow at a quicker pace than normal. Her
eyes dart around looking for Shinji. She knew he'd been here
last night. "Shinji!" she called out more frantically than she
realized. "Are you here." She scans the area for him.

He is nowhere to be found. No sense of him lingers. It's as if
he's disappeared entirely.

Confused Mika stumbled backwards. "This is the last place I saw
him." she whisperd sinking to her knees. "Shinji, where did you
go?" she pleaded with the darkness, as if she expected it to
answer her, despite the fact she knew it would not. She could
feel the tug of fear deep inside her. "It's like I can't feel
him anymore." she said quietly. She continued to look around,
as she fought with herself about whether to stay here, or go
back home to see if he was there again. For the time being she
pulled her knees to her chest and stared into the abyss, to
confused to cry.
Mika pulled herself to her feet. "I...I just haven't found him
yet. Maybe he went back to his store." Her eyes are slightly
unfocused, as she convinces herself she just needs to go find
him. She fades back into a shadow again.
