Yukio's eyes went a dark purple as Kuei glared at him. When
Freya spoke, they went back to their normal color.

Kuei's eyes glowed with electric fire. "Why should I give ya
answers? Why should I give ya this book?" He snapped. "What
could you possibly offer, Kuei?"

She crossed her arms, "I'd rather get answers instead of the
book. If whatever you can tell us will help keep Yukio and
Cherry safe then I need to know." she said.

away from the likes of the two of ya!" He exclaimed calmly.

She quickly grabbed his hand when she saw his eyes change,
"Yukio.." she said softly. "Kuei-san can you explain in detail,
why we need to stay away? Why exactly Yukio and Cherry are fated
to fight and what caused the fighting in the first place?" she
questioned and looked over to him.

Kuei let out a sigh and inhaled from his pipe. "Celphied and
Dubradigdo fought because of a godess' love." he paused. "And it
will be a godess' love that will cause them to fight again. That
is their fate." His eyes rested on Freya.
He turned to you Yukio and began to approach him. "You want to
know what ya are? You are darkness incarnate. You are the first
shadow to touch this world. The blood brother of the Dragon
himself. When you came into the world much blood was spilled
over who would possess you, including your birth parents. And
when you realize your true power- which you will because the
temptation of it will be too great to deny- this planet will be
soaked in blood." He turned to Freya. " You want the book, the
Tome of Xanthe?" He nodded his head towards Yukio. "Kill him and
it will be yours."

Yukio couldn't speak. What he heard, it was too great. He
wouldn't turn into a demon. He looked at Freya, watching her
reaction.

Freya moved in front of Yukio and shook her head, "That is
something I can't do.." she said as she looked down at the
ground. "Love caused the two to fight...and love will once again
bring bloodshed. Kuei-san what can I do to stop this...I...I
just can't stand by and let the people I care for fight knowing
I am part of the reason. There has to be something I can do."
she said and turned a tearful gaze to him.
