She swooped down and caught him in her arms, "Idiot don't scare
me like that." she said and glared at him. Righting herself she
regained altitude and sped past the other spirits. Once they
were a safe distance away from the spirits she landed them on
the ground and folded her wings.

White hands reached up from below ground, sprouting like a field
of flowers. They locked onto the two teens legs as they other's
pulled themselves from below ground as Yukio and Freya were
pulled under. Then suddenly all the hands and figures burst into
into fire. A man carrying a large dark red blade appeared. The
creatures hissed in his presence then fled.
He turned to face the teens. He had crazy red hair and dark
brown eyes, broad shoulders and huge biceps. He was insanely
tall standing over six feet. He bared a strong resemblance to
someone they knew. "Persistent, aren't ya?"

She looked at Yukio in surprise then looked carefully at the
man, nodding in agreement she saw the resemblance to there
friend.

Kuei eyes lingered on Yukio for a moment then they went back to
Freya. "The witch has sent ya on a quest to yer doom. The longer
ya stay here, the harder it will be to leave." He stated,
smoking a long pipe."I aint givin ya this book. So, I think it's
best that ya make yer exit while ya still can."

for the book and I won't be leaving here until I get her book."

Kuei smirked. "I guess ya just won't be leavin then." His eyes
went to Yukio again when he spoke. His easy eyes weren't so
friendly then. His glare was his response.
