by the spirits who'd all gathered together encircling the two in
a mob of pale figures who started at them with bulging eyes.

She frowned, "We need to get out of here." she said and wrapped
her arms around him. She unfolded her wings and flew them up out
of the circle of spirits, "I wish we could help them but our
main goal is the book." she said.

Freya felt a weight on her wings, like hands yanking down on
them. There were hands all over Yukio and Freya yanking them
downward. The bodies attached to the hands appeared.
"Stay with us!"
"I want to come with you!"
"We can leave this place if we eat you!"

you push them back with your powers before they crash us into
the ground?" she questioned as she tried to keep them in the
air.

Yuki looked at Freya and moved her hands, making her drop him.
He then used his powers to push the bodies off of Freya. He
tried to push himself back up, but found himself freefalling.
