Shnji's concentration wasn't all it could be. Arguing with the
girl couldn't have been helping. The creeping feeling of that
dark magick tugged at his mind. The fact that it gave him chills
somehow pleased that aura.
Takashi felt an overwhelming sense that something had him in
it's sights. He was weak, made helpless and defenseless by this
woman, and then she brought him here, to this place. Oh, he
would be ideal. Takashi felt the malicious threads of
something... Something that was very, very bad.
Dawn's magicks felt odd here. They felt a little wrong, as if
they were beginning to be warped in some way. It brought
goosebumps to her skin, and a vague tingle of panic at the back
of her mind.

Like a carnival of horrors, the three knew, very suddenly. They
weren't getting out of this place quickly or easily. A shudder
ran through Dawn. The sliver of panic is growing. slowly, but
steadily, like a young flame catching new and tender boughs.
A sense of impending doom and dread blows like an ill wind over
each of them.
