She seemed amenable to this gesture. Her feet kick in a gentle
rhythm, and unknowingly, she syncs her breathing with his. The
wheel turns, and in a not often seen gesture, Kaya curls against
       the other teenager.
The carnival played garish sound and happy music around them,
but for Kaya, the world was blessedly still and silent. For
once, her head didn't scream with someone's anger and
frustration, and her heart didn't ache with another's loneliness
and sadness. Anything felt was both positive and her own.
She lifted her head, looking at Haro. "Thank you." The kiss on
the cheek he'd given her is returned on his own.

haro blushed red as he was before, but rather than recede again,
he simply smiled, sharing this peaceful moment with her

This time, Kaya does smile. He'll learn yet... She looked
outward around them. "I think this is the closest I'll ever get
to flying, unless I learn how to control my elemental abilities.
I've got my wind currents with those, but it's hard to call them
at will, unless I'm in some sort of danger or reeeeeally pissed
off. Sometimes, I envy Kami." She gestured at the cloud outside.
"That totally looks like horse." See the sense of the absurd
       appear.

haro smiled at her."flying would be fun. the closest i get is
free running.." he then followed her eyes direction. "a
       horse?...oh, i see"

She grinned. "You're probably just sayin' that so I don't feel
crazy. It's okay. I know my imagination is kinda big, which then
leads to clouds looking like horses, and all sorts of other
interesting things. A big imagination has to be good for
something. At least I hope." She scrunched her nose slightly.
"I kinda wanna go on the whirly twirly thing next. Then maybe
over to the laser tag. They don't have a carousel here. I'm
sad." That lower lip is pouting again, and her expressive eyes
       are more blue than green.

       carosel, minus the horses" :P

She nudged him, her eyes comically wide. "You did not just say
that. Nuh-uh. It's not a carousel without the horses!" She gave
a huff, rolling her eyes. "I am not talking to you anymore. You
said the whirly twirly was like the carousel." She crossed her
arms, as if she were in a proper snit, sticking her tongue out
at him. Her eyes are far from serious, as they're dancing madly
       with her supressed laughter.

She nipped playfully at his finger and gave a huff, then
retaliated by moving close and snapping her teeth near his neck.
"I will bite you, swordsman. You are forewarned. Try me at your
own risk." A scent lingers around her, since he'd been close to
her now. It smells like faintly woodsy and spicy. Not dissimilar
to cinnamon and vanilla mixed with the slightest hint of clove
and something else. She thought for a moment about his words. He
had an understanding of the absurb just as she did, apparently.
She muttered lightly. "Still doesn't have horses. Not good
enough." The girl vaguely resembled a disgruntled kitten. The
ride was beginning to slow definitively.

haro laughed, he couldnt help it. he poked her cheek again,
accepting the challange. "well next time ill tell them to bring
       horses, alright?"
