trills, looking into his eyes, fully expecting him to
understand. She jumps into his arms. With a black flame, the
little fox disappears with her master.

Miles stumbled into his room, not bothering to close the door.
He lay on his bed, holding his head, and fell into a very deep
sleep.

Miles woke up with a jolt. His ears didn't hurt anymore, and
everything was silent. He stepped out of his room and swung
away.
