In the Yard

Both curious and cautious, Kaya approached the old domicile
quietly. Kami, her owl, flies high above her, his bird of prey
eyes watching his mistress and her destination with a wary
attunement. There is something odd about the bird, but it's
difficult to place.
As Kaya stepped onto the grounds, and into the yard, she
stretched her senses out, already seeking to glean what she
could from the residual emotion of the place. In an ever
tightening spiral, she came closer and closer to the house.
Barefoot, as she'd forgone her shoes, instead placing them in
her backpack, she let the energies and vibrations of the earth
underneath her feet speak to her.
She notes any changes, but her main goal was to pick up the
emotional health of the house. Were they positive or sheerly
negative. Few places were ever one or the other. And those that
were tended to be dangerous. Too much of the positive or the
negative could unbalance the scale. And then it would hurt.

Spider man landed on the front lawn of the mansion, looking for
anything suspicious. "I heard some freaky things are going on
here.." He said to himself, walking further into the lawn,
everything seemed alright for now. "Alright Spidey.. keep on
your toes.." He said, walking into the house.

Kaya felt him before she saw him. Hey...I know that signature.
What the hell is he doing here? She circled back to where she
was sensing Miles, and found him. She simply waited for himt o
notice her.

Miles' spider sense made his head go crazy. He looked behind him
and saw Kaya, barefoot, at the foot of the lawn. "Um...Hi...It's
almost like I see you everywhere I go... An ability of yours?"
He said, attached to to the wall, almost in the door completely.

Miles was about to crawl inside of the house, when a thought
popped into his head. "I can't fight anything here without my
web cartridges!!" He said swinging away to his room.

Izaya wears a wide grin thinking of the prospects of finding a
ghost. He stares at the house as if trying to burn the image
into his brain.

killik walked into the yard of the what seemed deserted mansion.
he could not help but be drawn here by the non effervescence of
life and light. the young dragon took another step closer to the
mansion. what may scare off the normals of the island only draws
the young dragon. the things that brings fear, to him only
brings calm. he looks at the mansion and sees not what others
would see. but would see a home. he walks onto the porch and
opens the door and enters the mansion
