The ring sat on the hand of one empath, who in that moment
seemed to be channeling a bit of faerie blood and watching it
sparkle in the moonlight. She wore this silly, stupid little
grin on her face. You could have knocked her upside her head
with a mallet, and she'd have never seen it coming.
She leaned against said reason why she wore that grin. She's
purring. A soft little vibration from deep in her chest. It
sounds very felinic. They still had things to talk about, but
for this moment, she's forgotten them. She'd forgotten
everything in the world but him.

he could only smile. as her world narrowed to him, his had
already been just her. he had his arms wraped around her, simply
enjoying this moment with the one he loved.

The little demi goddess had scooted her 5'2 frame into his quite
snugly. He was, at that moment, her own space heater. Cuz
otherwise, she might have been cold. Water didn't hold heat
well, or for long. She looked up, nosing her way against his
jaw. "How long did you have this ring, koishii? And where did
you get it?"

Kaya's brow raised slightly, as her mind processed that with
what she knew. Was that the ring...? She'd have to ask him next
time she was out on the water. She had a feeling that he'd be
happy to hear it. In fact, she was fairly positive the old fox
had arranged this very thing. But she'd never be able to prove
it. Damn his eyes.
She smiled slightly with her thoughts. It came to her that there
was so much to their story that the man behind her didn't know.
But she didn't know where to start or what was okay to tell.
She'd have to seek out the old fox, and talk to him. He usually
gave sound advice. And he was probably getting a bit lonely. The
eighteen years was almost up.
He'd be due to be unbound by sometime around her birthday. That
would give them time to handfast for a year and a day, as well.
Perhaps... She looked up at Haro again, her eyes full of serious
thoughts, but they were left quietly obscured. "When do you want
to make the vows, koishii?" She ventured softly.

She thought for a moment. For a long moment. "Strangely, I like
the winter. All that pure white? Crisp air. The world is fragile
and washed clean. It's an untouched landscape to set a path yet
unseen." It helped that it would make an old friend happy, as
well. She married around that same time.
