went in there for, it was clenched tight in his hand, and
pressed to his heart. after abit, his eyes started to open, till
he was looking up at her... he smiled and reached his free hand
to her cheek. "... dont go back to the water... not yet..." this
was dejavu from that day 3 years ago. the boy had reached after
the sirin that saved him, pleading her not to leave him quite
yet...

Those same blue green eyes look down into his, fathoms deep as
the ocean she'd been born from. And instead of slipping away
with a smile once more, she tilted her face into his hand. "No,
not this time. I'll stay for as long as you'll have me. You've
got my heart." She lifted her hand to his, kissing his palm.
One thing stayed the same. She cried tears, just as she had
three years ago. These ones weren't those of sadness, though.

haro slowly sat up, smiling. he held her hand, looking up at
her. "kaya... i love you. with all my heart and soul i do... i
know the ocean may call you... that you will answer this call.
its in your nature. i cant ask you to stay when that happens...
but i... i want to know youll come back. i want to be the place
you always return to..." he unclenched his fist, revealing a
ring in the palm of his hand. "kaya... will you marry me?"

She looked at the ring. She knew the customs of the people of
this time. And therefore could never deny that. "I'll wear your
ring, and I'll marry you in the way of your custom. If you'll do
the same for me in the way that I'd choose?" She told him, tears
pouring from her eyes.

he smiled, brushing tears from her eyes, though more formed in
his own. he nodded and took her in a tight embrace, coupled with
a passionate kiss.

She shared the kiss with him, a little salty from the tears.
Another similarity between 3 years ago and today. The kiss that
day of the past had been chaste, but still tinged in the salt of
both her tears, and the ocean. This one now was that of a lover,
held deeply and totally.
When the kiss broke, she looked down at him, he watched a
question darken her eyes. She asked it hesitantly. "You'll never
doubt me again? How much I love you, or that you're it for me?"

read it! You even said "looking up at her". Makin' me doubt my
own sanity and memory.))
She smiled again, for that moment, completely happy. She was, in
fact, practically glowing. She smiled a lopsided grin. "Leave it
to the daughter of the goddess of Love to fall in love, hand
over her virginity and be betrothed in just over two weeks.
Granted, I've known you for longer than that, but I'm telling
you. Leave it to me." She shook her head, rising to her feet.
She held her hand out to Haro.

he took her hand, and rose to his feet, kissing her.
(and from here, my dear, i must depart for abit. long trip and
all. u decide if we end this scene or continue tonight. either
way, bye bye for now ^^)
