light and shone before being lost to the waters. "im... just
human... a selfish... vile... unworthy human..." he muttered
alloud to himself. "never contained... never bound... never for
just me..." he kept talking to himself...

Kaya had started to cry. "I don't understand. I am just for you.
I promised you forever. MY forever. Stop apologizing and fucking
talk to me. You're just confusing me more." Her voice was
rising. She's starting to panic.
"I can't promise that I won't go wandering out to sea, because
she called me. That my song won't be sung on stormy nights to
guide someone safely home. That I won't...save a drowning man,
or a man lost to the open waters." She was talking as much for
his benefit, as for her own. It was pouring out of her, but it
was the only thing keeping her from screaming in her own agony.
"I'm a sea maiden. But I couldn't have been with you the way I
was if you weren't the one I'd come back to. Don't you
understand? That's why they said I wasn't enough my mother's
daughter. Why they said my thread was woven. My heart goes where
my body goes. Literally. One man." She offered her hands palm
up. "The only daughter of Aphrodite who wouldn't and couldn't
sing the songs that drew men." She said. Though it wasn't
bitter.
"I sang that song once. For you." She was trying to tell him
something, if he'd listen.

There's tears on her face, and a stricken panic in her eyes.
She's barely keeping it contained. "I said you couldn't cage me
and contain me. That I wouldn't be owned or someone's
possession. I won't let you take my freedom to make my choice.
That I needed you to trust me. Even if I'm going into the night
to sing my song, or I disappear into the sea for days. I need
you to trust that I will be back by your side, as soon as my
birthright's responsibilities are fulfilled.
I won't always be able to tell you what I have to do. I won't
always have the time. I didn't on a night 3 years ago, and there
may come another time when I won't. When I'm called for help, I
have to go. You wouldn't be here if I hadn't answered that
call." She looked at him. She's very serious.

his eyes widened. she.... she was the one who.... haro burst
into fresh tears of a different sort, embracing her tightly. "i
never wanted to steal your freedom! never to stop your will!your
one of the sea! free as she is! i just... i wanted to..." haro
stoped, letting go and standing up. he put his hand in his
pocket, then looked out at the water... and dove in,
dissapearing in the darkness.

He left a very confused, and now very stricken Kaya on the
shore. She was up on her feet in a blink. The only thing that
stopped her from diving into the water after him was knowing he
was a strong swimmer. She still plunges a slender hand into the
water. She'd know in an instant the minute something, anything
happened to him, and she'd be precisely where he was.

after 10 min hes still in there. he hasnt surfaced and she cant
feel him moving.

She's in the water the moment she can't feel him moving, or it
seems as if he's started to slow down. Between siren senses and
the fact that she knows where he is, she's there in a flash.

hes out cold, caught in tangled vines and weeds. hes clenching
something tight in his hand, even in this state of
unconciousness

In the first show of one of her oddest abilities, she simply
flashed them back to shore. Her teeth are gritted. It hurt her
to do it, for whatever reason. He was out, so he couldn't ask
why.
The water is pulled from his lungs by her, tossed back into the
Lake. Air is pushed into his lungs, even as her voice whispered
to him. "Wake up, and open your eyes, koishii. Please open your
eyes, and you're going to be lucky if I don't knock you back out
for doing this to me." Her tone didn't change from the coaxing
one she used.
