Kaya remains physically in the room, and part of her
consciousness is there, but she looks deeply inward for a minute
or two.

Miles blinked up at the ceiling. The symbiote crawled slowly off
of him. "Thanks..." He said, still looking at the ceiling. He
just kept blinking. For some reason, he just didn't feel like
crying. "I think it's done.." Miles said, trying to get out of
the situation. He didn't want to sit there, while Haro was
crying into Kaya's shoulder. He didn't want to deal with that.
"I really think it's done now.."

[Kaya's not crying, dear. Her force of will is strong. If hadn't
noticed.]

All of a sudden the room's air pressure seemed to go back to
what it was supposed to be. Kaya opened an eye, fixing it on
Miles. "Stop lying to me. You're attempting it against an
empath. It. Never. Works. So quit thinkin' I'm stupid enough to
fall for it." There are no tears in the girl's eyes. If anything
for a moment, she's more fire than water.
She let Haro cry his grief out. And watched Miles. "He's crying
because he was damn sure I DIED. Like never coming back, end of
the road, no ending but that suck ass way to go, died. What did
you think happened to me?" Kaya was curious, as she hadn't known
what was going through Miles' mind.

Miles looked at the ceiling, then at Kaya. "The...silhouette
made it.. It made it seem like Haro was the one who killed
you.." He said, his eyes not moving one bit.

Kaya looks nonplussed for a moment. "But they use your fears and
negative emotions against you. What could that have to do with
anything? I don't understand. His fear is easy to figure out.
Losing someone else he cares about." Kaya quieted, and once
again, he hears her over his spidey sense.
"What is your fear? Why did it use me against you too?" The girl
wanted her answer, but wouldn't put Miles on the spot by making
him say it in front of Haro, if he didn't care to.

Miles paused for a second, choosing the right words to say.
"Because, I care for you deeply." He said, looking at the
ceiling, almost with a blank expression. "And I thought that he
killed you, someone that I care for, deeply. What had that suit
done to him? In his mind, what had happened...what that voice
told him..What he saw.. Was still racking his brain.

at a point, haro sat back on his legs and rubbed his eyes. he
felt terrable at this point he hadnt asked this yet. "kaya...
what happened when you dissapeared? your here worrying about
us..." he put his hand against her cheek, holding the rest of
his pain back for her sake. "are you ok? are you hurt?"

She's still vaguely confused. "Well, yes. Both of you do. I
don't understand why you found the situation ironic, as you told
him. You were both yelling a lot of things at one another. It
was difficult to completely understand." Kaya has a feeling that
she doesn't want to know what he saw, bu that she needs to
anyway.
She asks him quietly, and seriously, "Will you tell me what you
saw? Or show me?" Haro seemed to snap from his daze, looking
at her so earnestly. It was her turn to search for words. And
for once, the eloquent young woman was out of them.
She looked at neither of the men, instead focusing on a spot on
the carpet feet away from where she sat. "I uh-" She stuttered
gracelessly. She took a breath, as if trying to shore her will.
"I was still in the room with you both. But, no one could hear
or see me. Neither of you could even sense me. It's like...I
just disappeared. And I felt so head blind. I couldn't feel
either one of you, even though I was standing inches from one or
both of you most of that time." She gave a quietly exhaled
breath. She's actively controlling her breath.
This doesn't stop the quiver of her lip, or the waver in her
voice. "I was alone in all the ways that count, but not so alone
that I didn't have to watch you two ripping into one another. No
matter what, I couldn't do a damn thing to stop it. And then
when you both started fighting in earnest, suddenly I could feel
you.
All that hate and malice, so dark. I just kept seeing the room
covered in blood, until finally I couldn't take it, and I
snapped. My defenses kicked in, and I just lit up with that
light." The girl is still befuddled at how she did that.
