Freya walked out into the yard, stretching her arms she found a
nice shaded tree to sit down and relax under.
After a bit she ate a few pieces of candy and vanished into one
       of her shadows.

Rina walked across the yard, admiring it.

Rina froze and looked around, locating a boy in a nearby tree.
"What" she said, caught off guard. "I, yeah I'm her cousin." The
lie was instantaneous. She didn't want people to know the truth
before she had a chance to tell Serena herself.

A raven haired girl in black jeans and a purple tank wanders
into the yard, and stretches out in the sun not far from where
Rina walked. She lifts a hand in friendly greeting, her eyes
hidden behind sunglasses. The invitation to strike up a
conversation is left open, but she doesn't push.
A mirror, much like one would scry with, is pulled from the
girl's messenger bag, as is a black velvet bag. The rattling of
       stones is distinctive.

Rina looked at the girl and waved. She was about to turn back to
the boy when she heard rune stones. Her head shot back towards
the girl with interest. When the boy spoke again, she looked
back at him. "That would be great.. just uh, hold on a sec."
Rina walked over to the girl. "Hi" she greeted.

Kaya smiled. Man, sometimes it was good to know your audience.
"Hi. I can tell you where Serena-sensei lives, as well. But, I
figure you'll make it there in due time. You don't feel quite
ready to do so yet. You feel like...rose quartz to me."
The runes rattled again, and she held out the bag to Rina, the
top gaping open. "Pick one out. You feel like an older soul.
When's the last time you took a look in the glass?" The words
were semi cryptic, but Kaya knew Rina would know what she asked.

Rina smiled at her words. "Yeah, I'm not really ready..." she
said. Reaching into the bag, she grabbed a rune and pulled it
out. She smiled as she looked at it.

"How appropriate.." she laughed. When she asked the question,
she reached into her bag with her free hand. After digging
around for a second, she pulled out her skrying crystal.

She looked at the rune in the girl's hand, smiling slightly.
"Biting the bullet, are we? It's good to meet someone with a
respect for the divination arts. Have a seat? I've missed
knowing a sister soul." The information given away by the man
who stood not far from them was a fascinating thing.
Kaya looked at Jizero, lifting her sunglasses. Eyes a mercurial
shade of blue and green met his. "Might be good to keep what you
know to yourself. She's got to be the one to do this." Kaya had
felt that spike of fear, and the lie told. She didn't know what
was hidden, but something was. Something the other girl wanted
kept quiet for now. And her runes didn't lie.
Her own mirror lay on top of the velvet that wrapped it when not
in use. The fabric was a very deep shade of midnight blue. It
       cradled the scrying mirror carefully.
