Kaya focused in on the soul. The biting winds calmed down to be
the lightest of warm breezes. She moved forward slowly. His
pride was hurt, because he'd been bested? A seven sins soul...
What was the opposite of pride? Humility. Being humbled. She
spoke softly as she came nearer. "Did your brother take your
life dishonorably, spirit? I feel your pain. I feel it here."
She touched her hand to her heart. "You wished to die as a
warrior, but he did not allow you do so, am I right?" She tried
her theories tentatively, still probing at his emotions
slightly.

She nodded her head. "Then you see? You really did win. He
wanted so to humble you, but he could not do so fairly. You were
the best. You likely still are. His dishonorable actions do not
have to be yours. He could not take away your pride. Only you
can do that. Continue this path, and it will strip you of
everything you were." Her eyes grew sad, and as they did, rain
began to fall.
"This path is the path you were forced onto. Make the choice and
step from it. Don't let your anger and hatred blot out
everything you were, spirit. I [i]see you. Be you. Not what he
tried to make you."[/i] She said simply. "Time to let go. Go and
be happy. Let the bad fade." The warm draft of air flows over
the spirit like a warm blanket on a frigid night. It's another
comfort.
