haro caught miles kick with an ease that crushed his new
confidence. haro then swung the boy into the ground and sent him
through the floor. haro quickly followed through the hole and
impailed miles in the throat, pinning him to the floor. the
weight of haro and his blade on miles chest felt like many tons
more than it should have, and the pressure was intense

Both seemed to feel a sense of empowerment. They each had their
mission. They each had their goals. And by God, everything
inside them screamed to accomplish those things. And the first
thing on that to do list was eliminating the other. While
passion fueled one, a cold fury fueled the other. Both were
lethal. One saw peace of mind beckoning. Justice and quiet. The
other saw stormy blue eyes and a come hither smile calling to
him. Neither was very willing to yield their prize. And the
pulse of the blood in their veins wouldn't allow it to be so.

Miles gasped for air, then shot a lightning web at Haro's face,
shocking him so that he would lift his sword, and then, a sweep
kick to unbalance him. Miles clung to the wall, trying to
formulate a plan.

haro was too far back to kick when he jumped back from the first
strike. his follow up stoped miles from thinking. without ever
removing the webbing from his eyes, haro struck miles an inch
from his heart and once again pinned him. once pinned, miles
felt haros blade twist slowly in his chest. it was clear haro
got no joy from this, he cared only for death, but it seemed his
soul mission to cause miles suffering.
