Caught up in my thoughts [open evening]

Mika sat at the back of the library, curled up in her favorite
chair. Her mind spinning in its own thoughts much as it always
seemed to do. Sighing she leaned her head back, her thoughts
jumping from Hunter, to shinji, to her father, to killik. She
looked at her hands, almost as if measuring what they could do.

Geist placed a single hand to his mouth to stifle back a small
yawn that had taken over. This of all places seemed like a
perfect start to acquire more information. Yet, so far it had
seemed he hadn't encountered a single hindrance as of late.
Pushing back a single strand of hair that had fell across his
facade, before he finally came to notice he wasn't alone in this
current location. "It couldn't hurt to make a few
acquaintances," he mentally noted as he slid his hands behind
his back and strolled casually in the direction of the stranger.
His boots clacking slightly on the floor, partly announcing his
presence.

Silently wrapped up in her own thoughts and a book, her thoughts
were interrupted. Looking up from the book in her lap at the
sound in of footsteps, steely silver eyes as they normally were
when the girl was on guard, fell on the newcomer. Running her
fingers through her hair she kept her gaze on him.

He tilted his head off to one side tilt the stiffen neck joints
popped. Still, in his casual stride and made mental notes in his
head. Tapping the side of his cheek, murmuring under his breath
"Alatus sapian." Finally casting his eyes back up to her face
after making his final judgements. "I take it, you're a fellow
student then?" Asking his default mellow tone, it was a first
step before going into the lengthy dance of introductions.

The sound of his neck cracking made the winged girl stiffen for
a moment. Having always been a sound that had bothered her at
the orphanage her wings twitched softly. As he seemed to be
making a judgement, another part of her mind twitched in
irradiation. Sighing lightly she brushed her hair behind her
shoulder, "And I am to take it that you are a new student."

Tapping his cheek, partly left in mental quandary and finally
offering of a singular nod. "That would be correct, stranger."
Adding in turn before offering off his only free hand out to
her. Now if he was more familiar with the rest of the student
body, it would have to wing it for this juncture.

Hesitating for a moment before before taking his outstretched
hand, she shook it softly. "It's normally customary to offer a
name upon meeting someone." Having grown more accustom to
Hunter's chivalry, she felt that the male should offer his name
first.

Tilting his head off to the other side, just letting his hand
slip back to his side. "Usually, introductory norms can vary
from person to person."Tossing a glance away from her while
taking a brief pause, eyes refocusing on something off in a far
corner. "That would be, Geist. I hope I haven't interrupted
any important studies." Finally just setting a case he was
carrying down onto the floor, in turn squeezing his hand open
and close to chase away the feeling pins and needles.

Raising an eyebrow as he looked away, she nodded lightly, "Well
welcome to O'raion Geist. My name is Mika." Leaning back in
her chair she shook her head. "You didn't interrupt much,
mostly lost in my own thoughts. What brought you to O'raion
Geist?"

He still listened in on the conversation, even if I could of he
had heard something. Shaking his head as his mind was most
likely in a delusional overdrive. "Pleasure to meet you, it'd
seem." Adding as he turned his fuller attentions back to her.
"Well, as with any institute of higher learning. I came for the
information and what knowledge lied within. Though, I hear the
sights aren't bad either." Nodding in a pseudo-sagely fashion,
then gesturing to her with two fingers outstretched. "What about
yourself, then?"
