secrets [shinkuru, night, shinkuru inc.]

"kuru walked around his lab doing his last rounds, checking on
his experiments" i guess i'll call freya tomorrow so she can
babysit me while i work "he yawned and laughed" she's so over
protective. but i guess thats why shes one of my best friends
"kuru sat in a chair and opened a folder he had been carrying
named new arrivals. eh flipped through the pages reading
analysis and information gathered about his fellow oraioners"
theres alot of new faces here at the island. i guess i should go
say hello to them sooner or later....we have..... "he looked
over the pages again" suha, maria, yamato, xero, homura, aki,
jasper, yume, demix, sachima, aki, killik, mitsuko.....man
theres a lot. i might just send cards to them or something "kuru
sighed and rubbed his forehead." none the less though what a
collection of faces we have "kuru smiled" none the less indeed
"kuru turned to face the direction the voice had come from"
who's there? "the voice came from a man who was standing with
his arms crossed next to one of kurus experiments"......roy? "
the man looked at kuru with a raised eyebrow, showing no
emotion" hello shindo, been a long time hasn't it? "roy started
walking toward kuru. roys sword swayed on his hip with every
step." almost....what five or six years? "kuru watched roy with
confused eyes" six to be exact. why are you here roy? did my
father send you? "roy gave a wry smile" no no i dont work for
your father anymore. about a year after you left i quit. dont
get me wrong it has nothing to do with you.....i just found
something better "roy stopped a few feet away from kuru" ok, so
why are you here then? " kuru was getting panicky. him and roy
weren't friends in the least and roy was good at one very
exceptional skill. killing." well im looking for something....an
apparently rare thing since we haven't come across another like
it. i remembered that you have the innate ability of being able
to locate just about anything. "roy pulled a folder out oh his
coat and handed it to kuru" i am smart......but not your smart
"kuru opened the folder and looked at its contents. his eyes
widened and his body began to shake in horror he dropped the
folder and its contents on the floor. roy watched him, unphased
by his reaction to the contents of the folder" do you know it
and or its origin "kuru looked at roy, tears slowly welling in
his eyes" i-i knew it....a-a-and its the only one of its kind
that was left "kuru lied, he couldnt let roy know there were
others. roy looked him in the eyes. no emotion, no
care"........thank you shindo for your cooperation "roy turned
to leave" my partners will be sad to hear of this but we will
have to move on to our next task "roy flickered away and was
gone. minutes later kuru face fell into his hands and he began
to cry."

A shadow opened on the ceiling and Freya silently fell through
and landed on the floor, yawning she pushed her mask to the side
and pulled off her bloody gloves. "Shiku-chan you here and up?"
she asked. Opening another shadow she dropped her gloves in
along with her jacket.

"kuru heard freyas voice and wiped away what he could of the
tears and picked up the folder with its contents" yeah...yeah im
up freya "he walked over to her trying to put on the best smile
he could" i see you've been working huh?

"Yes, very unfortunate my target almost managed to get away but
we luckily got'em before an escape could be made." she said and
combed a hand through her hair. She shut her shadow portal and
turned to face him, a frown forming as she got a look at him.
"You okay, you look upset....like you've been crying." she said
and walked towards him.

"kurus eyes betrayed his smiled" i-...yeah "kuru sat on the
floor, using one of the lab tables for support" his name is roy
verde "kuru snapped and images and information popped up on all
the monitors" he is ranked as the 2nd strongest swordsman
known, he was head of security for my fathers company but what i
hear now is he's quit. roy is near emotionless and has only one
real passion other than sword play.......rare jewels and riches
"kuru took a breath and ran his hand through his hair" he
decided to pay me a visit tonight. told me that the group he was
with now was searching for a rare....specimen. and he wanted my
help. "the tears started to build in his eyes again and he
tossed the folder to her".......there after the dragons freya.
jasper, isyah, homura. the new dragons.......there all in
danger. i told him i didn't know of anymore and he left....but i
think he'll try the island sooner or later

A frown began to form as she flipped through the folder. "I
see..." she muttered, her thoughts drifting slightly to Bruce
she sighed and snapped the folder close. "Then we'll have to
warn the others of the danger, and hopefully all of them have
found partners to help keep them safe. We won't let some idiot
drift in to hurt our friends." she said and sat down beside him.
"No use in crying, tears won't solve anything Shiku-chan." she
muttered softly and ruffled his hair.
A sigh left her as she looked up at the monitors. "It seems I'll
be taking leave from work, would probably be best to have
Artemis do the same." she said thoughtfully and ran a hand
through her hair.

She nodded, "I wonder if it would be possible for Artemis to
infiltrate the group. His knowledge in rare items and thievery
might prove interesting to them." she said and closed her eyes.

that would be great in- "kuru stopped talking and typing" oh-oh
no "kuru looked at freya, fear danced in his eyes" the
group...the group i-is greed "kuru stood and walked into another
room. coming back ten minutes later with a binder in hand" greed
is a group of merciless thieves who will take what here hearts
desire. the last time seen there was four members in the
group....but that was eight years ago. i will have to see if i
can find any more information on them. until then here "kuru
handed her the binder" durza, cheshire, the newly acquired
member roy verde and two others who i have yet to identify. i am
almost certain there are more "kuru typed frantically on his
keyboard" this is going to take a while "he mumbled to himself"

She nodded and closed her eyes. "The plan will be the same, I'm
certain my brother can get himself situated with this group.
Though dangerous and rare artifacts are his forte I'm sure he
can get some good info on rare jewels..." she said and frowned.
