Options of Change (Meadow, afternoon)

Freya sat back against the tree, taking out a book she quietly
read while her shadows began to form a dome around her. She ran
a hand along the shadow wall and felt it seep into the ground.
Her book was set on the ground and she flipped open a notepad to
take notes while she studied the barrier.

Aki walked into the meadow and looked around, playing with a
tennis ball he found.

Freya looked up from her notes, sensing another presence she
shut the book and stood up to step out from behind her dome.

Aki looked at the shadow dome, and a beam of light shot from his
hands, aimed right above the dome.

She placed a hand on the dome, a frown forming as she looked at
the light beam and then at Aki.

"S-Sorry.. I can't control it.. Not fully..." He said, looking
at Aki.

She shook her head "It's no problem. I'm just not a big fan of
light based powers." she said, a small smile as she looked at
the shadow dome. "I'm more for darkness and fire."

He set his hands to his sides. "My brother has shadow powers. It
always scared me."

"He always used to bully me. I hated it!" He said, closing his
eyes.
