Notai nodded and gave it back to her, the gem was now
pure-black, becoming black-onyx. "This way it can only be
activate by shadows." he said after deciding to drop the
subject, he could not smell it anymore. He look up in the sky
with a thoughtful expression. "Hmm..."

Mika nodded and took the ring back. She looked at his gaze to
the sky. "Okay, well its activated now? Thanks." She sighed
and ran her hand through her hair. A hint of fatigue creeping
into her eyes. "It's getting late enough. I should probably
finish my thought collection, and head home soon. I'm going to
use the remainder of the quiet here before evening falls."

He nodded rather lazily. "Sure... Get a good rest soon, don't
stay up too long." he walk away after noticing the fatigue in
her eyes, rubbing his head. "Why am I forgetful today... must be
sick or something..." he mumbles to himself.

Mika smiled and nodded as she waved. "Don't worry I won't.
I'll make sure to take care of myself." She turned back to her
shadows and increased the area and sat down on a rock a ways
from Killik. Giving him his own space. "Its nice to meet you
Killik. What are you doing out here?"

Mika smiled softly at him, watching him draw in the dirt.
"Wandering around and thinking can be fun. I do that a lot."
She smiled making sure that she never pressured his space or for
him to talk. She wanted him to be comfortable. "I like the
mountain. It lets me clear my head."

"i am still a hatchling so this is really my first experiences
seeing mountains. but if i have to say. i really like the beach
more" he smiled and stood up to stretch

An eyebrow raised and Mika looked at him. "A hatchling? Does
that mean that you are a dragon? One of my closet friends is a
dragon by the name of Jasper." She smiled and looked down at
the beach. "I can see liking the beach more. There is probably
more things to do there."

"yes i'm a dragon" killik tilted his head at the name "jasper? i
have not met another dragon yet other than my sister. if its
possible" killik rubbed his head in nervousness "me and my
sister would like to meet him one day? i cant quite understand
why i like the beach. it could be because my sister likes it.
who knows" killk laughed

Mika smiled warmly. "I hope that you do meet Jasper one day.
He is very kind, one of the few I would trust with my life. He
has been a great friend, and has helped me through some rough
patches." She smiled softly thinking about it. "You have a
sister as well? I can see if she likes the beach that you
would. You seem like you're good brother."
