Re: Hidden Cave behind the waterfall

Kaya turned her eyes to the newly revealed brother she'd known
was there. His abashed state, and the relaxing of his sister's
brought a smile to the little goddess' face, reminiscent of the
teenager she had been once upon a time. Still, she addressed
Mitsuko first, as she'd been speaking with her first. "There are
others here. Homura is a young fire dragon, though I have not
seen her in a bit of time. Jasper, a dragon of poison. Demix, a
dragon of the waters and ice. Those are the three that I myself
am familiar with.
At one time, I tried to find Demix a suitable partner, as he'd
enlisted my help. He wanted very specific things in his future
master. He was a sweet dragon. Each of them found their
counterparts, as I'm sure you will. Unless the two of you are
already paired?" Her brow rose in question, as she looked
between brother and sister. "Well met, Killik. I'm Kaya." Her
eyes moved tranquilly between the siblings. "A veritable yin and
yang juxtaposition between you. It's striking."

Mitsuko listened to Kaya with bright eyes, taking in what was
told to her. She smiled at the woman. She wrapped her arms
around her legs thinking as she spoke. At her question she
shook her head. "We are not paired, unless Killik hasn't told
me something!" She laughed softly. "We are still searching for
our partners, but I know we are young." She smiled as Kaya
spoke of their opposing natures. "Twins, one light and one
dark. It makes us an odd pair." She knew it did, but she and
her brother balanced each other out well.

killiks face turned red and he waved his hands frantically "i-im
not hiding anything. i still have not synced either" he laughed
nervously and calmed down " i like the fact that we are twins
that come from the opposite sides of the power poles" killik
laughed "it only means we fill in for each others weaknesses.
being a dragon of darkness makes me suscpetable to evil intent.
even though i am not evil, i am attracted to it since it is a
form of darkness. i can also see that evil and darkness inside
people. like a mural painted on there skin, it shows me there
past transgressions that has created the darkness. that is why i
haven't chosen a partner yet"

A bit of a Cheshire grin took the goddess' mouth. "Balance is
only odd to those who have none within. All things have their
duality. You two simply wear yours proudly upon your scales.
You'll remind one another that the light and dark exist within
each other, as well. Shadow cannot be where light is not, and
light loses it's precious nature without shadow to make it
shine." For a moment, the words held a gravity that seemed out
of place on the lighthearted woman they'd been introduced to. At
once, that shadow drifted away, replaced by a sunny smile that
seemed only slightly worn at the edges.
"Have any approached you in manners unbecoming? Attempted to
foist bindings you don't want upon you?" She asked softly,
patiently. The vaguely maternal air about her returned, and she
seemed genuinely concerned for it. She listened closely to
Killik's response, her sea storm eyes focused. As he spoke of
having the Sight, they narrowed consideringly. As if she studied
him, though more from looking at a kindred soul than something
else.
"You see the patterns and strands as I do. The Morai touched my
own skein, but you were touched by something different.
Interesting. Tell me, child of dark. What do you see woven into
my own tapestry? What is my darkness?" Curiosity and the urge to
teach drove the small woman to look at him head on, no
challenge, simply patience. A lesson would be imparted.

Mitsuko listened to the words of the woman with a soft nod. She
understood the weight of the words that she spoke. She was the
balance to her brother and he was hers. Her white scale, and
the small patch of black on her left front paw. She smiled
softly. "There are some who will attempt contact before the
exchange of names, but we have been being careful as we can."
The young dragon had head stories of those who had bonds thrust
upon them, that ended in the suffering of the dragon. She
didn't want that for her, or her brother.
As her brother told the woman of what he could do she smiled.
She had the opposite ability of her brother. She could the
light and the good in people. Often it took the form of light
auras around the individual, or as in a cloak that they wore.
She saw none of the darkness her brother did. Being a dragon of
light, she was less susceptible to the pull of the dark but that
didn't mean that she didn't respect it. She kept her eyes on
her brother so that he may respond.

killik eyes were sad and his face was with a frown "it is hard
to really say what i see. for now i am limited to seeing only
the darkness. like an abstract painting. i do not yet have the
skills to see through it. but there are darknesses about you"
killik grabbed mituskos hand softly and used the sight. giving
him the ability to see where a person stands within the hold of
light and dark "yet the darkness does not make you. as far as i
can see you are merely a leaf in the wind of fate. just as me
and mitsuko or anyone else"

The sad little chuckle that came from Kaya made her smile a bit
humorlessly, ocean eyes darkened slightly. "Live as long as I
have, son of darkness. There's only so long you can fight back a
night that wishes to consume. Your sister has seen the light,
just as you see the dark. You're unlikely to find many that
don't have both within them. Yet, you are correct. The shadow
does not make me." She inclined her head, shifting her position
slightly to pull her legs up and tuck them beneath her.
"I have been a web in the wind of Fate, and I have been a leaf.
I'm neither now, as they have difficulty ensnaring someone that
can view their traps. No longer food for the spider, as it were.
If you want to sharpen your sight, either of you, I can offer my
aid. Not many are familiar with being the embodiment of the
Final Judgement." She'd fallen to being almost cryptic, a trait
she'd loathed once in the Sisters three, but now fell back on
when she wished.
"Would either of you like my protection from unwanted touch? It
makes me unhappy to think of anyone being forced by the side of
someone that they did not choose, or someone that would only
bring them despair." Kaya spoke, the tone cool as she alluded to
being imprisoned within those bonds.

Mitsuko listened to her brother and Kaya. As her brother took
her hand she squeezed his back softly, happy to provide him the
sight that was hers. She smiled softly softly as Kaya's eyes
darkened slightly. As the woman offered aid in strengthening
their unique sights Mitsuko nodded lightly. "I am sure that I
would like to strengthen that sight, or to be able to understand
some of it better." She looked at Ki wondering his take on it
as well.
At the final question Mitusko nodded softly. "Protection? I
would appreciate that. I would like to be able to be part of
the decision of who I am bound too. I do not want to be bound
to someone who may not understand me." Mitsuko laced her
fingers together, golden eyes on them. She knew not all dragons
were so adamant about who they were bound too, but she was
determined to have a choice.

Her brow raised at Killik. "A barrier, Killik. Keeping undesired
touch out. If they cannot touch, they cannot bond, yes?" Her
eyes softened some as she turned her attention back to Mitsuko.
"Wanting to understand and hone your sight is a good step. When
you understand what you see in another, you begin to understand
what you see inside yourself." Her head nodded slowly at the
girl's firm pronouncement.
"Hold to that, and don't let go of it. The choice of a forever
bond is important. It can make the difference of your world
being joyous and bright or the skies darkening about you and
bringing nothing but pain and tears. Experience was a hard
teacher for me. It doesn't have to be for you." The goddess
lifted her hands and made a small gesture with them, as if
weaving something in air.
She formed something vaguely orb like from the energy that she
interworked. One of her nails sharpened itself into a steely
talon and sliced the palm of her right hand. As the blood
pooled, it caused the basketball sized orb to glitter brightly.
She widened her hands until the orb itself grew. Out and out it
reached until it became the size of the girl that sat close.
Said energetic field settled over Mitsuko with a goosebump
inducing frission.
Her ocean eyes turned Killik's way, brow arched. "It's no trap.
It will make sure you're not ensnared by someone that will abuse
you, rather than care about you."
