block out all sound and the voice and he stood to leave. Hunter
managed to come in as he was leaving..."

still be curled up in silver city.....or dead by now, if he
hadn't. Hunter threatened Shinji if he got me hurt or worse."

Mika sighed, "Its not like I normally walk into situations that
scream danger. Normally I'm more careful than that. I just
didn't expect this from him. I would have said Shinji never
would have done something quite so brash."

She nodded and smiled softly, "I know, and part of its not his
fault...Its mine. Its just been a lot lately. Between shinji,
and my father's influence stumbling into my life again. Im just
holding down what I can, trying to keep things stable and
functional."
