Reflections (Open, waterfall, evening)

A figure walked across the rocks at the top of the waterfall.
If the wings didn't gave away who it was, the long silvery white
hair glistening in the rising moonlight probably did. Taking
careful steps as she made her way to a small boulder that she
often sat on. Her eyes on the water she watched her reflection
stare back at her. Reaching her spot she sat down and sighed.
Leaning back she closed her eyes and looked up at the sky.
Humming a light melancholy tune she let her thoughts drift with
the water or the wind.

The sound of something in the forest, not too far from where
Mika was sitting, can be heard getting closer.

Mika's eyes spring open on habit at the sound. Silvery grey
eyes scan the shadows looking for the source of the noise.

Soon, a medium sized figure can be seen, looking at Mika, before
it reveals to be Miles, holding a sleeping child. "Hey there."
The spider said, smiling.

When Mika saw Miles step out the defensive aura lowered slowly.
"Hey Miles. Sorry I'm more on edge than i used to be."

knowing Mika was usually a calm person.

She sighed lightly and curled her arms around her knees. "I
guess things are okay, just complicated. A few things weighing
on my mind. It would have been easier if I'd stayed out of
silver city, but that was probably inevitable." She rested her
forehead against her knees.

He set Charlotte down and sat next to her. "What did he do this
time??" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

A light laugh escaped the winged girl. "I didn't even have to
say who it was did I?" She looked up with a slightly amused
smile. "He made a deal, to avoid nightmares. He showed me
around the city...and something was in my head. Pulling at all
the old wounds....telling me new things. Too much that were
true."
