our pilot's seem to get along well with our ops staff.there are
obviously days when the pilot's have issues with the roster etc
, and then some heated debates follow.

Feedback in class is also that things are slowly busy changing
between crew and ops staff, but as it is noted this rostering
thing creates unwanted tension, and may even oneday create a
safety risk in my opinion, espetially CRM.

qualified? The attitude will even change more towards ops staff
when they eventually fall under CATS and CARS- hence being
handed licences. Personal thought

Yeah I igree, a license would be the best, but at the pace
things in qualification is progressing this will take anouther
10 years,
I believe it all will pan out someday.

It is all about attitude my dear friends....
If our flight deck colleagues have attitude towards us; we have
to show them that we know what we are doing....
Then you see the change... You cannot demand respect.....
Do not forget - ATTITUDE BRINGS ALTITUDE....

All the wiser we become,.......
I think mutual respect should be the order of the day, drinking
beer afterwards, gets the tongs loose and gets people
comunicating.
If you are to good to sosialise, how can they trust you?
I am not saying get pissed every night, but take the time to
know the person, that will tell alot about a relationship.
Also I have found that I set the tone, so like mentioned above,
if i am flying hi they will shoot me down, but if I am feeling
like the blue bulls sorry for myself, they will keep on kicking
me.
I believe we are all people with plans.

Well noted, but remember to keep it profetional as well, to many
times have I seen guys overstepping the boundaries, and this of
course can quickly turn around the relationship, and remember
keep the ladies/men out of it.
