Amount of running bots
By: xoatie Date: February 5, 2017, 8:05 am

Hey,
Ok so having 6 bots at the same time worked for a while all
though having 11gb ram still available(24GB installed) after a
while there came slow response time and the poker rooms
sometimes flashing became white for some seconds therefor
causing slow response time with the bot (my guess)... what do
you guys think cause it? Because my goal is to be able to run 10
bots at the same time or even more maximum so to speak... is it
something i need to upgrade on my pc or am i asking for too
much? :p im currently running just 4 bots... but i have 16 bots
to spare and ibwant to use as many as i can.
Poll:
How many bots do you guys run at the same time on one computer?
Thanks
/Rob

That question is too hard to answer without additional
information have you checked performance monitor while the
slowdown occurs it could be anything CPU/RAM/HD access
times/GPU/SQL/too muchFUzzy fonts on your TM but I may be right
in thinking this has been fixed in OH9/Poker client WH had cpu
spikes for a long time dunno if thats still the case.
I myself run 20 bots on a VM with 4 cores/4GB/128 MB GUI and the
only noticable slow down I get is when I have too many sql
queries going off at one time which is rare.

+1 for the above!
about ACR - it will only run on windows 7 now, they changed
client; so vm or host, yeah virtualbox is great!
btw, i am planning for a new computer build: CPU: Xeon X5660 @
4+ Ghz, RAM DDR3 1600 24Gb - you think it will rule?
