The witch ran so fast she had to stop to breathe for a minute.
She suddenly realized why am I not flying. I'm not suppose to be
running like this. Those pesky Ghosts took my broomstick and my
hat too. She thought to herself, I've had it with those
miserable Ghosts. I'm going to teach them a lesson they won't
forget for taking my broomstick and hat. She had to walk rest of
the way back to her shack like a miserable human does. Woe is
her she thought. She wasn't cackling this time. She ran again
and landed right into a tree. Her nose stuck to it.

the owl was in that tree. it laughed as the witch tried to pull
her nose out. then flew off to tell the ghosts what happened.

just then, a bat flew up to a branch and hung upside down.
"don't just hang there," demanded the witch. "help me!"
"fat chance," scoffed the bat. "you turned me into a vampire,
remember? this is your just desserts."
the bat flew away, laughing.

The witch howled with anger and suddenly a storm started
erupting. She thought just what I need is a storm now. A
lightning strike crackled and came down hitting the tree branch
she was stuck in. The branch and witch fell to the ground right
on her fanny. Getting up she brushed dirt off of her and huffed
and puffed all way home with the part of the tree still stuck to
her nose.

"i'll get those ghosts yet!" she spat. she was hungry so she
went back to her gingerbread house and ate some of it.

the wizard lived in the woods too. not far away.

The wizard answered his door and said, "Amelia, how nice to see
you." Then looked at her with surprise and enquired. "How come a
tree is stuck to your nose though?" She answered in anger, "I'm
battling some miserable ghosts that I can't seem to get rid of.
Is there any way you can get this horrible tree off of my nose,
Wally?" Wizard Wally said, "I'll have to check my spell book but
think I can find something to help. Is it super glue? That is a
tough one to handle." Amelia was beside herself by now, "Yes,
yes. Get my nose out of this awful tree, thank you very much."

"ah," said wally. "here it is:how to remove tree from witch's
nose."
"you are kidding," said the witch.
"nope. it's right here in black and white."
wally closed his eyes and chanted:
chinka chanka friends or foes,
remove this tree from witch's nose.
then tapped the tree with his wand.

And on her nose the branch was gone but a wasp appeared and
stung her. She cried, "no, I'm allergic to wasps. Get it off
me." Wally answered, " Be still, ok, I will, hang on. Going
through pages in spell book, he finally found a spot that would
help the old witch. Not that any of us care. What happened next
was shocking.

her nose started swelling. it got bigger and bigger and bigger.
"hurry up, you stupid fool!" she screeched. "look at my nose!"
the wasp laughed and flew out the window.
