Raid Food
DIR By: Spekio

---------------------------------------------------------
Unlike in Cataclysm, feasts no longer provide the best food
buffs in the game. Most only provide 250 to a useful stat and
even the Great Pandarian Feast only provides 275. The best food
grants 300 to a specific stat and all raiders should be bringing
it for progression.
I can make all of the 300 stat food. If anyone needs it, just
mail me the mats with the name of the food you want and I'll
mail back the food. The mats are listed below and each recipe
makes 5.
Recipe: Mogu Fish Stew
Requires: Black Pepper, Emperor Salmon (5), Raw Crocolisk Belly
(5), Mogu Pumpkin (25)
Effect: +300 Intellect
Recipe: Chun Tian Spring Rolls
Requires: Rice Flour, Redbelly Mandarin (5), Raw Tiger Steak
(5), Red Blossom Leek (25)
Effect: +300 Stamina
Recipe: Sea Mist Rice Noodles
Requires: Rice Flour, Tiger Gourami (5), Raw Turtle Meat (5),
Scallions (25)
Effect: +300 Agility
Recipe: Black Pepper Ribs and Shrimp
Requires: Black Pepper, Giant Mantis Shrimp (5), Mushan Ribs
(5), Green Cabbage (25)
Effect: +300 Strength
Recipe: Steamed Crab Surprise
Requires: Rice Flour, Jewel Danio (5), Raw Crab Meat (5), White
Turnip (25)
Effect: +300 Spirit
Recipe: Spicy Vegetable Chips
Requires: Jade Squash (25), Pink Turnip (25), Juicycrunch Carrot
(25)
Effect: +300 Expertise
Recipe: Spicy Salmon
Requires: Emperor Salmon (5), Witchberries (25), Striped Melon
(25), Rice
Effect: +300 Hit
Keep in mind that for all of the food for the main stats uses
either Black Pepper or Rice Flour. While all of the other food
is farmable from drops, fishing, or your farm, those two items
can only be obtained by trading in a currency called Iron Paw
Tokens. There are three ways to obtain tokens. One is to do the
the Tillers daily quest which rewards one token. The second way
is to turn in bags of groceries. In general, a Bundle of
Groceries can be made from a stack of 20 meat, 20 fish, or 100
vegetables. For example, you can buy an Empty Jade Lungfish
Container and combine it with 20 Jade Lungfish for a Bundle of
Groceries.
While I will make food for anyone that provides mats, if anyone
is looking to be able to make their own food all you need to do
is level cooking and train the specialty that contains the food
you want to make from the trainers in Halfhill. Keep in mind
that to get to 600 cooking and train the 300 stat food, you will
have to make 5 of the 250 stat feasts to go from 575 to 600.
This will require a lot of mats and 5 Iron Paw Tokens, but from
that point on you'll be able to make the food you need whenever
you need even if I'm not around.

Here is a good guide on the top of the comments section of this
item that talks about what foods you can trade in:

different cooking supplies. The Bundle of Groceries can then be
turned in to Nam Ironpaw for a Ironpaw Token.

this quest: Preserving Freshness before you can start handing in
Bundle of Groceries.

> Some of the info here on wowhead on how to create these seems
to be wrong. You can't use Instant Noodles, 100 Year Soy Sauce,
Rice Flour etc.
