Hi From the Pyrenees

Hi All
Having 'lurked' on here a few times and enjoyed the feel of the
forum, the purchase of a Series 3 has forced me into coming
out...........
I bought the '3 as a runabout, there's plenty of work for a 4x4
up here in the Pyrenees, we live at 1000m give or take and you
can see snow on the mountain tops around us most months of the
year.
I'll try and post regularly, but I'm of an age where internet
comms are not the most important thing in my life, however, I
suspect having driven down from Cherbourg (950 k / 15 hours) in
one go with a clapped 2 1/4 diesel I'll be asking for a lot of
advice over the next few months.......
Cheers Stef

Welcome to the Madhouse Stef, :giddy:
2 1/4 diesel are good engines for Series III for local use..
And yes, we also see snow most of the year here form the kitchen
window :smilewide:
