Uneven tyre wear
By: pintofale Date: July 12, 2017, 3:20 am

My two nearside tyres are much more worn that the two offside
ones. The wear is pretty even across the tread. I can't
understand how this can happen, especially as there is more
weight (me) on the offside. They are all 14 year old Bronco AT
remoulds, 235/85R16. Could there be something wrong causing
this or is it just one of the unfathomable mysteries of the
universe?

Have you been racing around clockwise race tracks?
Seems very odd that each tyre would wear evenly, but not across
the axle. Can't think of a situation that would cause that,
You have got your money out of a set of 14 year old remoulds, so
swap them over and plan for a new set when they have all worn
down.

I don't remember doing donuts in it recently, but there are a
lot of roundabouts on the way to work...
