Hello,
I've still got the Safari, now with added overdrive, although
the two and a quarter petrol now seems a little saggy so service
and tune up time this week!

Ah, that's a Caranex,
It's one of those things that won design awards in the 70s or
80s, I have to say it's a bit of a pain in the hole cos it's got
lots of string, no windows and a zippy door to get in and out.
It's use means you can sling all the kack out the back of the
Landy and drive off keeping your place bagsied, and your gear
dry, but when you return you have to reverse almost inch perfect
to connect up again. Also, if you have it downhill of a Safari
parked in the lakes you'll also get a hundred gallons of
rainwater in it by the end of the weekend.
So, despite the fact I'm going to be selling it, don't buy one!

Maybe you need to try the Caranex at COW III, before you sell it
???

Ah, COW III looks like a darn good idea, I'll see what the plans
are.
I doubt I'll sell it, I'm too lazy, but then I'll probably not
bring it either, it weighs a ton and is actually bigger folded
up than when it's erected, if it was a couple of feet longer it
would be more use. I've just looked, I paid an overdrive's
worth for it too, I must have been pissed.
Well, I'd rather honest about stuff. Feel free to buy one, it
may be a thing of utter joy.

Rats,
Brother in Law's wedding the same weekend as COWIII, I pointed
out that seeing as we went to his last one do we need to go to
this? Turns out we do, so as a protest I think I'll insist we
drive the Landy up to Troon and use the Caranex in the hotel car
park in a display of solidarity.
