       A new owner, maybe?

Well, it's been a while since I owned a leaf sprung Land Rover -
I have a loads of great excuses, but I'm guessing that non of
them will wash with you guys!
Anyhow, I'm off to look at one tomorrow, a '67 diesel pick-up.
Also just been talking to a guy who has a '64 diesel, so I have
choices, so let the search begin!

       Cheers all!
Unfortunately the guy contacted me the night before to tell be
that the exhaust had disintegrated on his way home from work
that evening, so I didn't bother going to see it.
BTW, I was a member a while ago before the site shifted to this
new (to me) format, I'm guessing everyone's posts started from 0
       again?

An exhaust is an easy cheap fix and should not be something to
       put you off seeing it.

for example, intermediate pipe costs £10.79, front pipe £13
if this is a deal breaker you are buying the wrong vehicle ;D
